KharkivMusicForum is a networking platform for organizers, patrons and pioneers of cultural projects, performers and music enthusiasts, and is supported by arts and cultural institutions and foundations.
The forum aims to gather Ukrainian music industry leaders under one roof, in order to discuss common problems in the field and possible ways to resolve them.
Main topics on the agenda will include: importance of collaboration between entrepreneurs and musicians, successful cases of private music initiatives, relevance of the benefactor law, issues with artistic management, experiences of international cooperation, promotion of classical music through media outlets, festival movement in Ukraine, among others.
The first forum took place during KharkivMusicFest in 2019. Its speakers represented the following national and private institutions and projects: SkhidOpera, Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Lviv Organ Hall, UrbanMusicHall, Friends Fellowship of Dnipro’s Philharmonic Theatre, UKRArtists, VereMusicFund, OpenOperaUkraine, OdessaClassics, LvivMozArt and Lviv National Opera.
